“Joggers” on or near public streets and roads have a responsibility to wear bright, high-visibility clothing, according to a tweet from a motorist.

“Almost hit a guy in the middle of the street wearing basically camoflage (sic),” wrote the motorist, identified as Jack Kevorkian, 28, in a tweet posted at 7:46 a.m. “Joggers should wear bright clothing.”

“SMDH,” he added, internet shorthand for “shaking my damn head.”

Kevorkian was driving when he posted the tweet, according to multiples sources who estimated his speed at 45 mph in a 30 mph zone.

Reached for comment while sitting at a red light, Kevorkian texted Dumb Runner that he doesn’t want to hit any pedestrians, but that if he someday does, it will almost certainly be their fault.

“Look at what they’re wearing,” he texted. “They’re asking for it.”

At last report, Kevorkian was making a right turn into a parking lot, coming within a few feet of hitting a cyclist in the bike lane to his right.
