I Could Really Use Your Help
I don't ask much of you—which, btw, is how I like it; if this paragraph were a bumper sticker, it would read, I'D RATHER BE MAKING YOU LAUGH—but right now I have a request. Which is this: If you value Dumb Runner, please chip in to help keep it going.
Here's the deal. Accessing Dumb Runner is free, but creating it is not. In addition to expenses like web hosting, software fees, and stock photo purchases, I devote at least 30 hours a week to producing, sharing, and maintaining content through DumbRunner.com and The Dumb Digest. That's a huge, and very real, opportunity cost for me.
By choice, I don't accept ads (or anything else) from any brand or company. I don't do "sponsored posts," or link swaps, or any of that. I write with one audience, and one audience only, in mind: You. Period. In turn, I depend on you for support.
So if you value what I deliver every week—and you appreciate the fact that it's independent and ad-free—please show your appreciation by making a contribution.
Below, you'll find three easy ways to do so. (And a bonus fourth way that helps tremendously but won't cost you a thing.)
Thank you so much.
3 Ways You Can Help
1. Become a patron
What's Dumb Runner worth to you? The cost of a weekly cup of coffee? More? Less? Via our Patreon.com page, you can establish a monthly pledge in any amount. The process is simple and secure, and you can edit or end your pledge at any time. (Also: Patrons get perks like our weekly newsletter, The Dumb Digest.)
3. buy some merch
Every purchase of Dumb Runner merchandise helps me out. Whether you're looking for a gift or a little somethin' for yourself, check out the Dumb Runner Store and my new(-ish) shop over at Threadless.com. You'll find everything from signed books to triblend tees to glossy motivational posters.

4. share the love
Really. If you enjoy Dumb Runner, tell your friends. If you laugh at a Dumb Runner article or poster, or tweet, or Facebook post, don't keep it to yourself—take a moment to share or retweet it. Like one of my books? Say so in an Amazon review. All of this stuff helps so much. And it's free!
