Local Runner Down $62 So Far at Claw Machine

A local man has spent $62 at a shopping mall claw machine without success, Dumb Runner has learned—and he shows no sign of stopping.
Jonathan Kelley, 33, has been at the machine for more than two hours, manipulating a three-pronged mechanical claw inside a plexiglass case in an effort to pluck an item from a pile of assorted prizes. The prizes include a variety of small stuffed animals and one bib number for the 2022 Boston Marathon.
It is unclear which prize Kelley, an avid runner, is trying to grab.
