A local runner this morning flashed a “thumbs up” sign to the driver of a Tesla Cybertruck, Dumb Runner has learned—a gesture the driver apparently took as genuine.

The unidentified runner, a woman in her twenties or early thirties, spotted the large, harshly angular electric vehicle around 8 a.m. at a busy downtown intersection.

“Oh my God,” she said, according to a source. “Wow.”

“Super cool!” she said as she passed the Cybertruck, looking at the man behind the wheel and offering a thumbs-up.

The runner, smiling the whole time, then laughed.

The driver, also unidentified, waved at the runner, sat up straighter in his seat, and smiled.

“Holy shit,” the runner said as she ran away, still chuckling.
