‘Jogging’ Stock Photo Model Really Phoning It In

A model in a stock photograph is really phoning it in, Dumb Runner has learned.
The model, a woman who appears to be in her 50s or 60s, is not named; the website offering the image for sale labels the photo “Beautiful mature sportswoman listening music [sic] in earphones while jogging in park.”
In addition to appearing listless and perhaps even bored, the woman is clearly not moving at all in the photo and is making the feeblest effort possible to suggest otherwise, with fists clenched and arms bent.
The model, clad in black and shown from the waist up, stares at the camera with a look that radiates a desire to be anywhere else but where she is.
Observers were at a loss to explain the model’s apparent ennui.
“Maybe she’s listening to some really sad music,” suggested one.
“Or maybe this picture was taken toward the end of a super-long photo shoot,” said another, “and she’s more energetic in the earlier shots.”
Contacted for comment, the model in the photos replied, “Meh.”
