CLIF Introduces 6-Foot ‘Party Bar’

Clif Bar & Company, the California-based maker of sports nutrition products, today unveiled the latest addition to its lineup—a six-foot “Party Bar” version of its well-known CLIF energy bar.
“Say goodbye to boring pizza, soggy subs, and other humdrum party foods,” the company said in a news release announcing its launch, “and say hello to the CLIF BAR® Party Bar, six feet of fuel that will give your guests the energy they need to party all night long!”
According to the news release, Clif’s Party Bar is essentially “a regular CLIF BAR®, but much longer” and each one will feed “12 to 18 people.”
The CLIF Party Bar, which initially will be available in Crunchy Peanut Butter, Chocolate Chip, and Blueberry Almond Crisp flavors, will retail for $38.
Reached for comment, a spokeswoman for Clif Bar & Company called the Party Bar “our biggest product launch yet.”
“I stressed the word ‘biggest’ just now because of the product’s large size,” she added. “My boss came up with that.”
