A local woman dialed 911 Sunday morning to report a "suspicious man" running through her upper-middle-class neighborhood, according to police records.

Eva Braun, 59, was out walking her dog around 10 a.m. when she noticed the man, dressed in running gear and jogging by himself along a sidewalk.

"Uh, yes," Braun told the 911 dispatcher. "There's a man here, in my neighborhood, a suspicious man. I don't know what he's up to, but he's running away from something. Fast."

Pressed for details, Braun said, "He's about 30 years old, I'd say. Maybe eight feet tall. About 320 pounds. He looks pretty powerful."

Braun added that the man was carrying "what looks like some pricey electronics, with earbuds" and that she felt "pretty nervous."

"He doesn't exactly belong here," she told the dispatcher. "If you know what I mean."

"Please hurry."

Police arrived within moments and the man was taken into custody. His fate remains uncertain.
