Sick Freak Actually Smiling on Treadmill

A woman at a local gym is smiling while using a treadmill, Dumb Runner has learned, presumably because she is some kind of twisted psychopath.
Sources described the woman, who appears to be in her twenties, as “otherwise pretty normal looking,” being well groomed and wearing traditional workout gear. Those same sources said the woman climbed aboard the treadmill and started at a walking pace before increasing the speed to a brisk jog. The whole time, they said, she was grinning broadly.
“It was so weird,” said one source. “Who smiles on a treadmill?”
The woman remains unidentified; gymgoers were advised by staff to “try to ignore her” and to avoid making eye contact.
“Yeah, I didn’t get too close,” said another source, who almost used the treadmill next to the smiling woman but thought better of it. “A freak like that, you never know what they’re capable of.”
Another fellow gym user, ignoring the staff’s guidance, approached the woman and joked about her enjoying the “dreadmill.”
“She didn’t acknowledge me or my comment,” that person said. “Didn’t even turn her head. Just stared straight ahead, smiling.”
“It was so unnerving.”
At last report, the woman was licking the treadmill’s screen.
