KitKat Fits in Phone Pouch, Local Runner Delighted to Discover

A regular-size KitKat bar fits nicely in a standard armband phone holder, a local woman was happy to learn today.
“Oh my God,” said Eartha Mae Keith, 32, as she slid the chocolate/wafer confection into the compartment meant for her smartphone. “This changes everything.”
The discovery was sheer happenstance, said Keith.
“I was getting ready for a run and looking for my phone,” she said. “I thought it was in my purse, so I grabbed it and starting fishing around in there and found it.”
Or so she thought. The item she pulled out was, in fact, a KitKat.
“I’d forgotten (the candy bar) was even in there,” Keith said. “I laughed, realizing this thing was basically the same size as my phone.”
“And that’s when it hit me.”
On a whim, she slid the KitKat into her armband phone holder. It was a perfect fit.
“There was no room for my phone in there, too,” said Keith. “But who cares? I’ve got a KitKat.”
Now that she’s had this epiphany, Keith said, she plans to experiment with other snacks.
“Do they make phone holders big enough to accommodate a King Size KitKat?” she said. “I don’t know. But I intend to find out.”
