American marathon legend Meb Keflezighi has an early Christmas present: Rolling Stone has given his new collection of holiday classics five stars—its highest rating.

The album, Meb Keflezighi Wishes You a Very Mebby Christmas, was released last Tuesday. On it, the Olympic Silver Medalist and Boston and New York City Marathon champ belts out “12 Swingin’ Standards,” sometimes with a twist. For instance, Keflezighi’s take on “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” is titled “Have Yourself a Mebby Little Christmas.”

“Simply put, this is the best celebrity holiday offering since William Shatner’s Shatner Claus—The Christmas Album,” Rolling Stone critic Ralph Parker wrote in his review. “We knew Mr. Keflezighi could run. Who knew he could sing, too?”

The review goes on to gush that Very Mebby Christmas “takes listeners on a holly, jolly tour of Christmas classics like you’ve never heard them,” declaring the album “an instant classic that will delight generations to come.”

Meb Keflezighi Wishes You a Very Mebby Christmas retails for $14.99 and is available at specialty running stores.
