A local man owns an “adorable” hydration belt, Dumb Runner has learned.

Graham Parsons, 31, a physician assistant and veteran of three half-marathons, bought the belt, a dual-bottle model from Nathan Sports, about two years ago and wears it on most of his runs.

“It’s so cute,” said a source close to Parsons, who requested anonymity because he was not authorized to speak to the media. “It’s blue and stretchy and totally adjustable, and it has these itty-bitty plastic bottles in their own little pouches so you can carry along your favorite special drink for sipping while you run.”

“The bottles are so cute.”

The source stressed that Parsons doesn’t have to worry about losing the bottles, because the pouches that hold them offer a snug fit and are topped with “cute little elastic bands in a sort of teal that complements the color of the pack.”

“Graham fills his little drink bottles, snaps on his little belt, and he’s ready to go!” the source said. “It’s adorable.”

Reached for comment, Parsons confirmed that he owns the belt and that it is cute.

“Oh my gosh,” he said. “It has a little zippered pouch, just the right size for my lip balm and my keys, stuff like that.”

“Sometimes I put a cookie in there,” he said. “But don’t tell my dietitian!”

In addition to looking cute, the hydration belt has led to some cute interactions as well, Parsons said.

“Once, I was out running and someone passed me and said, ‘Hi, Nathan!, and I was, like, That’s not my name, silly! That’s the name of my hydration belt! And we both had a laugh.”

“It was so cute.”
