An Olympic runner has tested positive for dope moves, Dumb Runner has learned.

Adolfo Quinones, 27, a 1500m specialist who took bronze in the 2016 Games, was randomly chosen for out-of-competition testing over the weekend, according to a statement from the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA). The results, the statement said, were damning.

“This athlete’s skills go well beyond sick or mad,” it read. “Mr. Quinones’ moves are straight-up dope.”

The statement also noted that tests detected the presence of sick beats.

WADA did not detail Quinones’ moves, but a source told Dumb Runner that they included locking and popping, toprock, downrock, and at least one “airchair freeze.”

“It was obvious that this guy isn’t just dabbling,” said the source, who requested anonymity, fearing retaliation from Quinones’ crew. “You don’t get moves this dope without years of practice.”

Officials have not announced what penalities Quinones might face, though it seems likely he’ll be stripped of his Bronze Medal.

“I would hope so,” said Dumb Runner’s source. “As far as I’m concerned, Quinones stole that medal from its rightful owner.”

Quinones, who was attending a dance battle, could not be reached for comment.
