Safety Pin Enters Abdomen

A safety pin entered the abdomen of a local woman Sunday, moments before a 5K race, Dumb Runner has learned.

“Ow!” said Anne Boleyn, 38, a runner who had just registered for the race and was hurriedly pinning a bib number to the top of her running skirt.

“Shit,” she added, under her breath.
